Hearing Voices - Dean Wareham's lyrics illustrated
A selection of Dean Wareham’s lyrics has just been published in a beautiful book with illustrations by artist Ed Templeton.
The collection has been published by Nazraelli Press and is available in three editions.
- An edition limited to 40 copies (and already sold out I’m afraid) which came in a custom cloth slip case and contained an original drawing by Ed Templeton and was signed by bothe Dean and the artist.
- An edition limited to 250 copies, with the cloth slip case and numbered and signed. Still copies available for $150
- The standard edition available for $60.
The collection spans Dean’s entire career from Galaxie 500 to his most recent solo release and is an absolutely gorgeous collection.
Hearing Voices is the first published collection of [Dean’s] lyrics, and is the result of a unique collaboration with the artist Ed Templeton, who created the illustrations for the book. Ed Templeton’s drawings, paintings and photographs have been widely exhibited and published in the United States, Europe and Asia. Hearing Voices is his fifth title with Nazraeli Press. The lyrics presented here span Dean’s entire career from Galaxie 500 and Luna to his recent solo work.
